Tuesday Night Developments

The Patriots are reportedly in talks that would send Randy Moss to the Vikings. Per Jay Glazer, the issue at this point is the extension/contract. This is a deal where everyone wins and should get done. The Vikings are desperate for help, but what this tells me is that Sidney Rice may not be coming back as soon as thought. He was projected to possibly make a return on week 6 so things must be worse than doctors expected in his treatment. Percy Harvin owners rejoice! On the other side, it's time to buy Brandon Tate immediately as he would most likely fill Moss' shoes.

Marshawn Lynch goes to Seattle for a 4th rounder and Julius Jones gets the boot. Green Bay should be first in line to at least give Jones a workout and I can only assume they would take a risk on him given they need the help. Lynch to me really stays at current value since both Forset and Washington will still need and deserve touches. This deal elevates Spiller's and Jackson's stock most since it's now only a split instead of a threesome.

  1. Moss to Vikings IMO would be huge fantasy wise. His numbers have dropped dramatically as the temperature does in the Northeast winter months the last few years.

Too bad Green Bay didn't outbid Seattle for Lynch's 'beast mode' running style, but don't be surprise to see Marshawn flash his 2008 Pro Bowl form in the great Northwest the 2nd half of the season.
